Description
This is a collection of shots from my hotel room window at the Sheraton Mustika in Yogjakarta, Java.
My plan was to take four days to shoot footage of the volcano after a work trip to Bali. I had flights and hotel booked but due to the severity the airport was closed. I ended up taking cars and trains to get there, which brought my stay down to less than two days. The first day I couldn’t see a volcano due to the clouds, but the second I woke up at 5.30am to one of the most amazing sights I’ve ever seen.
Here are the shots I managed to get off before it all clouded over again…
